2008 Investors Group Walk for Memories On January 27th, 2008 Classic Caregivers participated in the Investors Group Walk for Memories supporting the Alzheimer Society. With the help of staff, family and friends Classic Caregivers Ltd was able to raise more than $3000 to help people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. In Vancouver the snowy conditions eased just in time for the 5K walk around Stanley Park. We were especially honored to have our canine friends’ Koda and Ozzy accompany us on the walk. Stacey and her friends Eli and Samson proudly represented our Victoria branch in the walk. Look for us next year in our black Classic Caregivers jackets... |

Consumer’s Choice Award Recipient All of us at Classic Caregivers Ltd are very pleased to announce that we have won The Consumers' Choice Award 2007 for the 3rd consecutive year in a row. On December 10th Lynette Garrison and Courtney Drury accepted the award from City Councilor and Deputy Mayor for Vancouver City Hall Ms. Heather Deal. World Without Barriers: BC Paraplegic Association On June 27th 2007, Classic Caregivers was very pleased to participate in the trade show "A World Without Barriers". This convention which was held at BC Place Stadium had over forty exhibitors attend and was part of the 50th anniversary celebration for the BC Paraplegic Association. This free consumer show reached out to help people with spinal cord injuries, mobility issues and seniors rebuild their lives. We would like to take this opportunity to thank not only the BC Paraplegic Association but also all the other exhibitors who contributed to making a difference. Walk for Memories: Alzheimer Society of B.C. The fog lifted & the sun came out just in time for some of the Classic Caregivers Team to participate in the White Rock Walk for the Alzheimer Society of BC. The youngest & star of our Team was Madeline at age 5 who biked her way through the event. The walk was a great success and we were proud to help the Alzheimer Society of BC raise over $24,000. Sleep Country's Backpacks for Kids In September 2006, Classic Caregivers Ltd. were happy to donate 3 backpacks filled with school supplies to a campaign initiated by Sleep Country. These backpacks are distributed to children in need from grades 1-7. They are children who do not have the resources to buy them themselves.
