World Without Barriers: BC Paraplegic Association
On June 27th 2007, Classic Caregivers was very pleased to participate in the trade show "A World Without Barriers". This convention which was held at BC Place Stadium had over forty exhibitors attend and was part of the 50th anniversary celebration for the BC Paraplegic Association. This free consumer show reached out to help people with spinal cord injuries, mobility issues and seniors rebuild their lives. We would like to take this opportunity to thank not only the BC Paraplegic Association but also all the other exhibitors who contributed to making a difference.

Walk for Memories: Alzheimer Society of B.C.
The fog lifted & the sun came out just in time for some of the Classic Caregivers Team to participate in the White Rock Walk for the Alzheimer Society of BC. The youngest & star of our Team was Madeline at age 5 who biked her way through the event. The walk was a great success and we were proud to help the Alzheimer Society of BC raise over $24,000. 10th Annual Fall Expo & Open House at the Kerby Centre
On September 14th & 15th, 2006 Classic Caregivers Ltd attended this Seniors Resource Fair in Calgary, Alberta for a second successful year. It was a great couple of days and nice to see some of the same faces and displays. All of this was possible thanks to help from Mazzy and Piper who came in to set up and arrange the brochures nicely! The little ones were quite the pair and a hit with their fellow exhibitors!

Lou Gehrig Memorial BBQ at the Nat Bailey Stadium
Classic Caregivers was proud to present the Lou Gehrig Memorial BBQ at the NAT on August 1st, 2006. The event was a great success with The Canadians ending a fantastic night winning their game in the 9th inning!

Sleep Country's Backpacks for Kids
In September 2006, Classic Caregivers Ltd. were happy to donate 3 backpacks filled with school supplies to a campaign initiated by Sleep Country. These backpacks are distributed to children in need from grades 1-7. They are children who do not have the resources to buy them themselves. Classic Caregivers Ltd. wishes all the best for the school year to come!
